Proudly hailing from the musically rich foothills of Cleveland County (Shelby, NC), Dirty Grass Soul has been entertaining audiences across the Carolinas and beyond since their formation in 2011. With a sound that draws much influence from traditional music of the North Carolina foothills, Dirty Grass Soul manages to bring a new, refreshed, and re-energized sound to their music that falls somewhere between country, bluegrass, and southern rock & roll reminiscent of acts like The Charlie Daniels Band and The Marshall Tucker Band. Rather than simply relying on heavy guitar leads, Dirty Grass Soul offers instrumentation that mixes in a heavy dose of fiddle, pedal steel guitar, and banjo in addition to the guitar. DGS is lead by founding members Kevin Dedmon (Fiddle, Vocals, Guitar) and Lance Watson (Bass, Mandolin). They are joined by Tommy Smith (Electric Guitar), Dedmon's brother Kris Dedmon (Banjo), Glenn Miller (Pedal Steel Guitar), and Jared Miller (Vocals & Percussion). After touring the Carolina's behind their self-released albums "The Long Way" and "New Day of Work" as well as performing shows alongside many premier national acts, Dirty Grass Soul has earned a reputation as one of the southeast's emerging Southern Rock/Alt. Country bands. Their newest project "Soul'd Out: Life from The Don Gibson Theatre" is due out in May 2022 and will be the band's first double-live album! Whether it is the hint of bluegrass, outlaw country, or rock & roll you hear in each song, their sound is uniquely Dirty Grass Soul. From Dedmon's down home/working class lyrics to the blazing instrumental breaks, Dirty Grass Soul is sure to offer a little something for everyone.
Formed in late 2012 by vocalist Matt James and drummer Nathan Gillis in the small East Texas town of Palestine, Blacktop Mojo’s fiery blend of sludgy grooves, classic rock guitar riffs, and southern metal shredding falls somewhere between Soundgarden, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ZZ Top to form a sound deemed by some as "Texas Grunge". The music draws on a multitude of genres and styles to form a hodgepodge of dirty, heavy rock and roll mixed with sensual and at times even, carnal blues. After their debut album “I Am” in 2014, The band spent a few years cutting their teeth in dive bars, dancehalls, and honky tonks around Texas. In 2017, during the recording of their sophomore record "Burn The Ships" the guys quit their day jobs, moving into a small house together in Palestine, TX. The house created an unbreakable fellowship between the band and a culture of constant creativity. Since then, the band has kept a relentless touring and recording schedule, with multiple songs reaching the top 40 on both the Media base and Billboard Rock Charts, no small feat for an independent artist. The band continues to grow the old-fashioned way by hitting the road, sweating it out on stage, and growing slowly, but surely, by word of mouth. “When you come see us,” says lead singer Matt James, “You're seeing rock and roll the way it used to be. A group of people on stage playing their instruments right in front of your face. No laptops, no backing tracks. What you see is what you get.” Must be 21--with valid ID

FLAW’s most recent heavy hitting album, Vol IV: Because Of The Brave, was released July 19, 2019. FLAW’s story began with the independent release of home-grown albums American Arrogance (1996), Flaw (1998) and Drama (2000). It was the songs on these recordings that garnered the attention of Universal Republic Records, who signed the band and released the break-through album Through The Eyes in 2001. The offering topped the Billboard "Heatseekers" chart, largely fueled by the singles "Payback" and "Whole." The band then followed-up with an album entitled Endangered Species via Republic in 2004, but soon thereafter the band went through personnel changes and ended their relationship with the label. Volz stayed creative, releasing a critically acclaimed solo record, and also touring aggressively with the band Five.Bolt.Main. The band’s tumultuous relationship with themselves, and their label, were reflected in their songs. It was the life and energy captured in these songs that propelled the band forward. It was always FLAW fans’ connection to their songs that carried the band on. “We would not be where we are today without our hardcore fans,” says Volz. “The Flaw Family is the backbone of everything we do, and we cannot wait to get out and tour in support of this new record”. FLAW is a band that is re-emerging on the strength of renewed focus and energy, and that energy is captured on the lead single from “Divided We Fall”, a song called “Live and Breathe” that is a vessel of raw human experience and emotion. Just days before the release of FLAW’s most recent album VOL IV: Because Of The Brave, FLAW filmed on the Stephen Colbert Show in NYC, in a skit video supporting their first single “Conquer This Climb.” FLAW can accomplish great things, and their fans are Must be 21--with valid ID

Since the band’s inception in 2006, SICKMAN has played hundreds of shows from the Carolina’s to Tennessee and West Virginia, currently celebrating their 20th year of existence on the local tribute scene. Hailing from their homebase of Charlotte, NC the four piece consists of Randall Sehvan Hargrove (guitar/ vocals), Monte Anderson (guitar/ vocals), David Littell (bass) and Gary Knight (drums), four experienced musicians you deliver a sound nearly as close as the actual recordings themselves. The band covers the entire musical catalog of Alice in Chains music, to include not only the well known classics but also some rare B-sides and even some of the more current hits of the newly reformed Alice In Chains.
Every corner of the country tells its own story as part of the larger American experience. Nestledin the heart of Georgia, occupying approximately 395 sq. miles lies Jones County, the placeDemun Jones proudly calls home. Demun is a rapper, singer, songwriter and independent artistwhose music is infused with rustic instrumentals, hip-hop fundamentals and exceptional lyricism.“I found my individuality by rapping over the acoustic guitar,” he notes. “I didn’t even mean for itto be unique, it was just, me. I grew up surrounded by hayfields listening to N.W.A. and OzzyOsbourne. If you throw that in a blender, Demun Jones is what you get. Once I’d lived a bit, losta bit, won some, and experienced my fair share, I could tell my own story. I’d never been toCompton, but I had an idea of what it was like from listening to West Coast rap. So, that inspiredme, ‘What if I write about living in Jones County in a creative way?’ I’m giving you countrystories told through the lens of rap music.”Demun grew up the third of six children, with two older brothers who first introduced him to themusic of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and AC/DC - who he experienced as hisfirst live concert. His mom would spin the classics of the Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Jim Croceand Jones County’s very own, Otis Redding.
