Trey Lewis w/ special guest Addison Simmons live at Stockyard

With a pair of homegrown hits and plenty more in the tank, Sony Music Publishing singer/songwriter Trey Lewis has emerged as the straight-talking, salt-of-the-earth hero country music fans crave. Known for breaking the genre’s unspoken rules, the Birmingham, Alabama native has spent the last 12 years honing a gritty blend of contemporary country and Southern rock, turning his call-it-like-I-see-it attitude into songs. Lewis first broke through in 2020 with his PLATINUM-certified viral hit “Dicked Down In Dallas,” an unapologetic cheating anthem that climbed to No. 1 on iTunes, amassed over 500 million streams to date and made him a nationwide force. Pairing country horsepower with refreshing honesty and a troubadour’s wit, his unfiltered approach runs throughout a catalog of bold, humorous songs built for pure enjoyment – music that resonates because it doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. With every release, Lewis proves country music could use more fearless storytellers who know how to have a good time without taking themselves too seriously. Keeping his foot on the gas, the rising star maintains a stacked tour schedule while preparing more new music. For the latest information and more, visit TreyLewisMusic.com. Once I’d lived a bit, losta bit, won some, and experienced my fair share, I could tell my own story. I’d never been toCompton, but I had an idea of what it was like from listening to West Coast rap. So, that inspiredme, ‘What if I write about living in Jones County in a creative way?’ I’m giving you countrystories told through the lens of rap music.”Demun grew up the third of six children, with two older brothers who first introduced him to themusic of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and AC/DC – who he experienced as hisfirst live concert. His mom would spin the classics of the Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Jim Croceand Jones County’s very own, Otis Redding. Dirty Grass Soul live at Stockyard

Proudly hailing from the musically rich foothills of Cleveland County (Shelby, NC), Dirty Grass Soul has been entertaining audiences across the Carolinas and beyond since their formation in 2011. With a sound that draws much influence from traditional music of the North Carolina foothills, Dirty Grass Soul manages to bring a new, refreshed, and re-energized sound to their music that falls somewhere between country, bluegrass, and southern rock & roll reminiscent of acts like The Charlie Daniels Band and The Marshall Tucker Band. Rather than simply relying on heavy guitar leads, Dirty Grass Soul offers instrumentation that mixes in a heavy dose of fiddle, pedal steel guitar, and banjo in addition to the guitar. DGS is lead by founding members Kevin Dedmon (Fiddle, Vocals, Guitar) and Lance Watson (Bass, Mandolin). They are joined by Tommy Smith (Electric Guitar), Dedmon’s brother Kris Dedmon (Banjo), Glenn Miller (Pedal Steel Guitar), and Jared Miller (Vocals & Percussion).   After touring the Carolina’s behind their self-released albums “The Long Way” and “New Day of Work” as well as performing shows alongside many premier national acts, Dirty Grass Soul has earned a reputation as one of the southeast’s emerging Southern Rock/Alt. Country bands. Their newest project “Soul’d Out: Life from The Don Gibson Theatre” is due out in May 2022 and will be the band’s first double-live album!   Whether it is the hint of bluegrass, outlaw country, or rock & roll you hear in each song, their sound is uniquely Dirty Grass Soul.
